Photography permits are required to take professional photographs at Village Square

Private Photography Shoots (consists of wedding photos, engagement photos, head shots, family portraits etc.)

A one-shoot permit may be purchased prior to shooting for a total of $45.00+hst. A “Wedding Package Permit” may be purchased for two photography shoots, for a total of $70.00+hst. Alternatively, a “Season Permit” may be purchased. This includes up to twenty photography shoots, to take place at a rate of no more than 3 scheduled shoots per week during the period from May 1, 2010 to September 31, 2010, for a total of $500.00+hst. Notwithstanding the fact that the photographer has purchased a Season Permit, each specific shoot date and time must be booked, in advance of shooting.

Permits may be purchased from Artists Walk in the center of Village Square. In addition to purchasing a permit, a photographer must book a specific shoot date and time, in advance of shooting. The permit fee, including the fee for a Season Permit, is non-refundable, even in the event of cancellation of a booking or non-use in whole or in part of the permit. Village Square can book up to eight photographers throughout the day 3 groups at a time in four time slots:

7am – 10am, 10am – 1pm, 1pm – 4pm, 4pm – 7pm

Commercial Photography Shoots (consists of film, T.V, video etc.)

A site license agreement/commercial photography permit is required to shoot at Village Square, for a total of $1,500.00+hst per day. The contract permits you to professionally photograph in the lane ways but not within any of the building or tenant spaces without express permission. You may choose the time frame that suits your needs, however this needs to be approved in advance as all shoots mustn’t conflict with prior scheduled shoots. The fee is non-refundable, however, in the case of poor weather we will offer the opportunity to reschedule the shoot.
