Lauren Hanham

Lauren Hanham is a skilled goldsmith and a 2009 graduate of the George Brown Jewellery Arts Program in Toronto, Ontario. Before moving to Toronto in 2006, jewellery was a passion of Lauren’s while growing up in Burlington, Ontario. After beading, working with polymer clay and playing with plastics since childhood, she decided to take her skills to the next level by exploring the world of goldsmithing. She took a sixweek introductory workshop at the Dundas Valley School of Art and became thirsty for more. The George Brown Jewellery Arts three-year program was the answer. After being accepted, her thirst for creativity began to be quenched. She participated in the One of a Kind show in her second and third year, as well as the graduate show of 2009. At the beginning of her goldsmithing career, she can only hope that there be more opportunities to showcase her work and express her passion for jewellery.
