Village Square

Village Square’s unique architecture is a combination of heritage homes and carefully crafted replicas of century old buildings. Using reclaimed brick, fieldstone and other vintage materials sourced from period buildings in Canada and Europe, Village Square developer Jack Friedman has recreated some historic Burlington landmarks within Village Square.

The Queen’s Hotel ~ A turn of the century hotel originally situated on Brant Street.

Shady Cottage ~ Pioneer Peter Fisher, the son of an Empire Loyalist, built this farmhouse around 1826 and lived in it until his death.

Town Hall ~ The building is a replica of Burlington’s original town hall. Built at the turn of the century, it served as post office, jail and fire station.

Fire Hall ~ Burlington’s first fire station was built onto the town hall on Elizabeth Street
